Attack of the Show!

Alright, so it's been about 5 shows now and I think they have been going great! I have already spoken to a few listeners and I hope there are even more out there somewhere, and hopefully much more after the internet streaming gets hooked up.
The phone lines have just been activated, so I hope to hear from listeners to see how they like the show and how I can improve! Cos' it's all about the people and the music!

Having a 4 hour block of great music between myself and Greg with Just Do It before me works out great. Their kickin trance and club music is a great transition to the hardcore and hardstyle I offer, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I've gotten used to the equipment in there and pre-mixing the shows really helps to pack in as much music as I can in the 2 hours without me fiddling around with CDs, computers, and various other mediums.

Other than the show, not much else has been going on.
There's been some really great free things going on in the music world I live in and I have to remember to link to some of it sometime for all to enjoy. Over my winter break I hope to be acquiring M-Audio's Torq hybrid computer vinyl control system for my decks and my DJX700 so I can make some proper mixtapes to put up.
Also been taking a lot of pointers from people such as Sy and Kutski and getting better at my scratching. I hope to work that into my mixes more now and into my DJing all together (because if I'm going to learn from anyone...it should definitely be them!!)

FIRST SHOW WENT OFF!!


The first Techno Tuesdays show with The Noise Violators (DJ G-Z, and myself) 8pm-12am went off without a hitch!
Well...we had quite a few problems but we feel we managed to pull off a good 4 hours that at least got the point across as to what we are all about. We are about giving Westfield and it's campus listeners the music that they have probably never really heard before, and to give those who are already fans a bumpin good time!! Greg was coming on strong with the trance and electro mashups even despite his laptop being fried and going off of an external HDD! And I banged out some hardcore, hardstyle, old skool, and gabber despite going from CD-player to laptop, to Mac, to CD-Players (lol).

But I believe we did a good job, and expect next week's to be EVEN BETTER!! We are putting up some fliers around campus so look out for those and if you listened to our show and found this site...please tell your friends to give a listen if you liked what you heard!
To be soon included in our shows will be better Station and DJ I.D.s, phone calls, local rave and party information, bookings for us to live DJ, guest mixes, guest stars, campus raves, and internet streaming!
